Under the banner of Adformatie Academy we organise a Masterclass for creative agencies on Friday, 11th November. The theme is ‘Positioning and Growth Strategy’. Tickets are going fast. However, there are still a number of places available.
The Masterclass is especially developed for creative agencies, and will take place in Capital C Amsterdam. A great creative hub in the East of Amsterdam, and also my office. The Masterclass focuses on professionals from creative agencies, from managing directors, creative directors and strategy directors to sales- and account managers and marcom-specialists. During the Masterclass we will look at developments and opportunities within the market, the possibilities of growing your agency, positioning, as well as brand stories and communication strategies. Obtaining knowledge and insights that participants can apply straight away.
Together with Susanne van Nierop (lead editor of Adformatie - Dutch marketing trade magazine), we have selected eight prominent professionals from the industry. A line-up to be proud of:
Developments, take-overs, new business and growth
We start the day with Rik Ledder from TBWA/Neboko. He will talk about developments in the market - from the ever-changing demand from clients and the economy to attracting and retaining talent. Kim Verhaeghen from Springbok will speak about mergers and take-overs - what the starting points and motives are for businesses. Fred Moolhuijsen from Brand & Business Architects will share his views on business development, including targets, KPIs, the type of clients to focus on, as well as tips to bring in new projects. We will finish the morning with Michael Plein from Triple. He will talk about operations and growth, including scalability, culture and networking.
Positioning, brand, communication and thought leadership
After lunch, Mary Hoogerbrugge from De Positioneerders will speak about positioning, including internal and external analysis, making the right decision with regards to choosing the category and your position within this category. Followed by Marjan Straathof from Dept who will talk about brand stories. Maira Evers from The Gardeners will chat about communication strategies, including building brands, ambassadors and PR strategies. Nick Bailey from Futurefactor will end the Masterclass with an interesting talk about thought leadership: the relevance with regards to your audience, challenging yourself and making a difference.
I am the moderator of the Masterclass throughout the day, and will also share my views and opinions on these subjects.
Interaction between participants and speakers
Last year the first edition of this Masterclass was online: there were four interactive online broadcasts. More than forty agencies took part. During this year’s Masterclass speakers will not only be able to share knowledge and insights, participants and speakers will be able to have meaningful conversations together in person, talking about each subject in depth. We will finish the day with drinks on the rooftop of Capital C.
Interested? Please register here. There are 25 places in total.
Please note that the language during this Masterclass is Dutch.
